I am a 5^th grade teacher at Pearl Haskew Elementary. I am entering my 29^th year as an educator and for this, I am extremely honored and humbled. I hold a Bachelor’s degree and a Master’s degree in Elementary Education from Miles College and Springhill College, respectfully. I have had the privilege of teaching in Birmingham, Alabama, Orleans Parrish, and Anne Arundel County School System in Baltimore, Maryland. I have also taught 3rd and 4th grade. I am the mother of two beautiful daughters, Briana and Lauren, and 6 amazing grandchildren (5 energetic boys and 1 spunky granddaughter). You can find me spending time with my family and close friends, working with my church ministries, and ordering food from my favorite restaurant (WEMOS WINGS...lol). 

I look forward to an exciting school year with my awesome 5th graders.
